Hello, I am Mati, a Cantonese and English speaking counsellor and psychotherapist working in London and online.
I specialise in cultural clashes, generational trauma, family dynamic, Christianlity or other faith concerns, and men's issues.
I am a BACP accredited member, Association of Christians in Counselling member, and Canadian Certified Counsellor member.
I combine my counselling and conflict resolution background with my lived experience in Hong Kong, Canada, Scotland, and England to help my clients build strategies towards a more enriching and authentic life.

Mati Ma will keep brief records of each session. These records are the sole responsibility and ownership of the counsellor.
Under the Data Protection Act (2018) you have the right to see written or electronic records about yourself and this can be arranged by appointment. You also have the right to request I remove data about you from my system.
Client information is stored according to GDPR and PIPEDA policies. I have regular supervision from an independent supervisor. This protects both you the client and me the counsellor to ensure service quality.
Confidentiality is guaranteed except in situations of immediate risk of serious harm, in which case we will discuss about contacting other agencies for help to ensure everyone's safety.
